Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit the Inspire Eid Festival at Stockwood Park in Luton It was truly an experience filled with joy, culture and community spirit. The festival promised to be the UK’s most affordable Eid celebration, and it truly lived up to the expectation.

As I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the vibrant setup—colourful bunting, lively music and the delicious aroma of street food filling the air. Entry was completely free, which made it even more inviting. Families, groups of friends, and people from all backgrounds gathered to celebrate together.

The Highlights of the Festival

One of the main attractions for me were the funfair rides. They were super affordable, with prices ranging between £1- £2, making it easy for kids and families to enjoy without spending a fortune. I watched as children careered on the bumper cars and screamed with excitement on the mini rollercoasters.

Another major attraction was the food stalls. From sizzling kebabs to sweet, crispy churros, there was something for everyone. I treated myself to a warm plate of biryani, and later, I couldn’t resist trying some freshly made falafel. The variety of international cuisine was incredible—Eid celebrations are never complete without tasty food!

Throughout the day, the festival had live performances and entertainment. A talented host kept the energy at a peak, and there was even a segment where singers performed both traditional and modern songs. It was heart-warming to see people clapping along and enjoying the music together.

A Community Celebration

What stood out the most was the sense of community. Strangers greeted each other with smiles, and you could feel the warmth in the atmosphere. Inspire FM did an amazing job in organizing such a heart-warming event that felt welcoming and inclusive. It wasn’t just about the rides and food; it was about bringing people together in the spirit of Eid.

As the evening came to a close, I took one last walk around the festival, soaking in the festive energy. The combination of laughter, music, and delicious food made it an unforgettable experience.

Would I go again? Absolutely! The Inspire Eid Festival at Stockwood Park was a beautiful reminder that celebrations are best when shared with others. If you ever get the chance to attend, I highly recommend it!
